Reston Association’s Senior Movie Day Returns

(Posted Feb. 9, 2024) After a nearly two-year hiatus, Reston Association is pleased to announce the return of its popular Senior Movie Day event. Senior Movie Day, in conjunction with LOOK Cinemas in Reston Town Center, will offer free screenings of popular films for adults ages 55+ on the fourth Wednesday of each month and officially launches February 28, 2024 with a showing of “Downton Abbey: A New Era.”   

“Not only has Senior Movie Day been one of RA’s most long-standing events, it’s also one of the most anticipated and popular all year,” said Laura Kowalski, Director of Recreation for Reston Association. “We are thrilled to bring Senior Movie Day back to our community with this new partnership with LOOK Cinemas and Reston Town Center.”  

Scheduled films are listed online and are subject to change. Senior Movie Day is held the fourth Wednesday of each month and is free for ages 55+. No registration is required. Doors open at 9:15 a.m. for refreshments and socialization; the movie begins promptly at 10:00 a.m.
