New Board Members Announced

(Posted Apr. 12, 2022) Three newly elected members of the Reston Association Board of Directors were officially announced at the Annual Members’ Meeting held virtually on Zoom on April 12. The new directors are as follows:

Glenn Small: At-Large

Irwin Flashman: Lake Anne/Tall Oaks District

Laurie Dodd: North Point District

All three candidates will serve three-year terms on the nine-member board. The candidates were elected by the RA membership during a month-long voting process in March. While the races for each seat were uncontested, the association’s governing rules states that at least 10 percent of eligible Reston voters must cast ballots in each race to make the election results official. Voting in the RA election was done online and through mail-in ballots.

The new board will hold its initial meeting on April 13 to select officers. Those positions include president, vice president, treasurer and secretary. The process of the board selecting its officers is done annually.
