Registration Information

2014 registration starts Jan. 27 (members) and Feb. 3 (non members).

* To be eligible for member registration, a child’s parent or guardian must be a RA member in good standing.
In order to register for classes,  you will need to supply three phone numbers. So, if you see an "edit phone numbers" link, please click on it and enter your three phone numbers.


Confirmation Letters and Forms
All registrants will receive an e-mail confirmation letter within two weeks of their registration. Download the 2014 Camp Handbook (coming soon) and camper forms, which must be completed and returned by June 1. These forms include a physical and proof of identification.
Waiting List

If a camp session is sold out, you should add your child’s name to the waiting list on-line in the Shop RA section of our website. RA Camps will contact you if a space becomes available. You may also contact RA Camps for assistance by emailing or by calling 703-435-6551. You will need to provide your name, your child’s name, and your phone number and/or e-mail address as well as your desired camp name and session number.


General Information
  • Age requirements must be met by Sept. 30, 2014.
  • Maximum staff to camper ratio is 1 to 7.
  • If your camper wants to be placed with a friend, please request a Special Placement Form,
    due by June 1.
Payment & Refunds
  • A $75 non-refundable deposit per camper per session is required for all camps at registration time. Exception: Nature Tots and Walker's Rangers deposit is $40. Deposits may be transferred as a deposit to another RA Camps session within the same camp season. They may not be used toward a camp balance. Deposits are credited toward the total cost of the program.
  • Full payment for all sessions and services is required by May 1.
  • Refunds, minus applicable deposits, may be recovered until June 1. See the Camp Handbook for complete refund policies and procedures.
  • Transportation and Extended Care fees are refundable and transferable until two weeks before the start of the applicable session.
  • Returned checks will result in a $35 fee.
Camp Shirts

Campers at Hug-A-Tree, Sportsters, Day Camp and CITs are required to wear an official camp T-shirt each day. Shirts are sold at the RA office. $8 for youth sizes, $10 for adult sizes.


Did you know ...

If you prefer not to register on-line you can mail or bring in your registration forms to Reston Association. No faxed registrations are accepted. Additionally, please be advised that if you choose to leave a registration form in the Drop Box, your registration is not complete until you receive an email receipt.
