Nature Tots

Nature Tots provides an outdoor education experience for ages 3-5 that allows children to develop their social and physical skills in a fun and unique environment. Based at the Walker Nature Center, campers enjoy a variety of indoor and outdoor activities that encourage creativity and exploration. Activities are centered around themes and include nature walks, group games, arts & crafts, and music.

A Sample Day’s Schedule
Schedules vary day to day. Schedules are distributed on the first day of each session. They will include time for counselors and campers to plan for their groups.

  • Morning Circle (examples: welcome, Nature Tots song, listen to story)
  • Nature Walk
  • Arts & Crafts
  • Snack (provided)
  • Group Time (examples: game, theme-related activity, nature presentation)
  • Pick-up

Walker's Rangers

Walker’s Rangers provides an outdoor education experience for children ages 6-9. Based at the Walker Nature Center, campers enjoy a variety of indoor and outdoor activities that encourage creativity, exploration and appreciation for their environment. Activities are centered around themes and include nature walks, group games, arts & crafts, and music.
