Reston Garden Plot Rental Program
RA rents approximately 225 garden plots
each year in 4 locations. All of the plots are
located on a gas pipeline easement that runs
through Reston. This makes good use of this land
due to the requirement to keep these areas open.
The garden plots provide a place for growing
sun-loving vegetables and flowers. Of the four
locations three are for organic gardening.
The plots
are located at:
Golf Course Island - on North
Shore Drive, across
from GCI Pool and Rec. Area
Lake Anne - on Wiehle
Ave, near the Unitarian Church (none-organic)
Hunters Woods I - next
to the Veterinary Clinic on Reston Parkway
Hunters Woods II - next to
Hunters Woods Pool on Reston Parkway 
RENTING
A PLOT
Plot
rental prices vary depending on the plots size.
Prices range from $20.00-$133.00 for the year.
Since many gardeners grow perennials they have the first
right to re-rent a plot. If you are interested
in placing your name on the waiting list contact
the Member Services Department at 703.435.6530.
Plant flowers and
vegetables at one of our 4 convenient locations. Water
troughs are available at 3 of the locations and spigots
are used at the oldest plots in Lake Anne.
