SESSIONS

1. June 23–July 3
No camp on July 4th. Special carnival extravaganza July 2nd.
Winged Wonders

The sky’s the limit as campers explore things with wings. Bugs, birds, bats, and man-made flying machines. It takes more than wings to get into the air. Join the paper airplane design contest, and test your piloting
skills. Can you beat your wings like the birds, and buzz from place to place like a bee? Design your own flying machine, and soar into summer.

2. July 7–July 18
What’s Underfoot?

Get down and dirty and check out what lives below us. From rocks to fox, we’ll dig in and explore things we usually walk right over. Go creeking to see what lives at the bottom of a stream, have worm races, and design your own underground home. There’s a whole world to explore right below your shoes!

3. July 21–August 1
Color Me Green

Green plants, green animals, and a great green planet. Search the air, trees, water, and all around for anything green. From green frogs to green
insects, we’ll look for animals that like the color green. Join the Hug-A-Tree Green Team and learn what you can do to keep things green. We’ll have a contest to see who can recycle “trash” into the best “treasures”.

4. August 4–August 15
Olympics Under the Trees

Participate in the Hug-A-Tree Olympics where everyone takes home a medal. Play teambuilding games, and create a team flag for our fun-filled
Olympic Festival. Explore the gold medal winners from the animal world. How do you measure up? Can you run as fast as a greyhound, swim like
a fish or jump like a flea? Don’t let the games begin without you!
