ATTENDANCE BONUS AGREEMENT:
Who is
eligible?
Full-Time and Part-Time Lifeguards
Pool Assistant Managers
Pool Managers
- working 10-40
hours per week for six or more weeks
mid-May through mid-September.
Who is
not eligible?
Substitute Lifeguards
Lifeguard Instructors
Water Safety Instructors (WSI) (who are not in a full-time
management position)
Short-Term Lifeguards
(working less than 6 weeks)
Water Aerobics Instructors
How can
eligible positions receive a 5% end of season bonus?
In addition to his/her wages, all Full/Part-Time RA
Lifeguards are eligible to receive an attendance bonus
of five percent (5%) of his/her total wages for the
summer. The bonus will be issued at the end of the season
provided that he/she meets the following criteria:
1) Is ready
and able to work beginning on the agreed upon start
date through and INCLUDING the end date, as written
on his/her application or position acceptance form,
2) Is not absent from work more than the allotted
10 sub days (or aquatics Manager approved special
leave),
3) Consistently follows the administrative substitute
procedure,
4) WSI certified Managers and Assistant Managers teach
a minimum of 3 of 5 full group swim lesson sessions.
Sub days are
not encouraged during the employee’s last week
of employment and must be pre-approved by the Aquatics
Manager.

Manager can void this agreement at his/her discretion-
