Natural Areas Remote Strip Inspections

Debris Inspections

From December to mid-March, Reston Association’s environmental staff walks the property lines and natural areas, inspecting for hazardous trees, yard debris or waste and other materials dumped on the Reston Association common property. Every year, RA conducts these inspections to ensure the health of the ecosystem and wildlife habitats. We appreciate your help and your cooperation in following the RA guidelines for proper disposal of your yard debris. Staff is happy to speak with you about proper disposal methods. Call our Central Services Facility (703-437-7658) to speak to an RA staff member. You can also learn more through the frequently asked nature-related questions (FAQ link located on the right side of this page).
