RA Responds to Appeals Ruling on Golf Course

The Fairfax County Board of Zoning Appeals reversed a ruling by the county zoning administrator concerning the Reston National Golf Course. The BZA's decision on Wednesday essentially allows for the owners of the golf course to continue the process of submitting plans to develop the property for residential use.

Voting Begins in Property Purchase Referendum
The voting period for the Tetra property purchase referendum began at 5 p.m. on Monday, April 13 and will close on Friday, May 8.  The referendum will decide whether Reston Association will move forward with purchasing the 3.47-acre property on Baron Cameron Avenue.

Ken Knueven, Reston Association’s president, wrote in support of RA purchasing what is known as the Tetra property in his President’s Perspective blog this week. Association members will have the opportunity to vote on whether RA will move forward with purchasing the 3.47-acre parcel and land and building.
