The Reston Association Board of Directors is searching for additional volunteers to serve on the Lakes, Docks & Boats working group. Specifically, the board is seeking representation from residents who do not live on any of Reston’s four lakes. Board members believe this will allow for input from the broader community and not just from lake area residents who are serving on the new panel, which was approved at the regular monthly meeting of the board on Thursday, May 24.
Caren Anton was selected to fill the vacant Hunters Woods/Dogwood District seat on the Reston Association Board of Directors. The board made the selection after interviewing four candidates at its regular meeting on Thursday, May 24.
David Bobzien announced his resignation as president of Reston Association’s Board of Directors effective immediately. Bobzien has been diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia and began chemotherapy treatment late last week.
Reston Association’s CFO and acting CEO, Robert Wood, has announced his resignation. Wood accepted a job at a national nonprofit organization in Washington, D.C. His last day at RA will be Friday, April 20.
(UPDATED APRIL 12, 2018) Victoria White, the Hunters Woods/Dogwood District representative, has resigned from the Reston Association Board of Directors effective April 11, 2018.
