The Reston Association Board of Directors selected CFO, Robert Wood, to serve as acting CEO. This appointment comes a day after it was announced that Cate Fulkerson would be vacating the CEO position as of March 1. Fulkerson will be moving into a special adviser role for the association.

The Board of Directors of Reston Association and its CEO, Catherine (Cate) Fulkerson, have announced today that Ms. Fulkerson will not be continuing on with the association past the end of her current employment agreement, which expires on Oct. 31, 2018.

The Reston Association Board of Directors approved the addition of two new residential development projects into the association at Thursday night's board meeting. Owners of units at Valley & Park by Toll Brothers and the Lofts at Reston Station by Pulte Homes will join the association as full members.

Candidates Certified for RA Board Election

Thirteen candidates were certified by the Reston Association Elections Committee on Monday, Jan. 29 to run for four open seats in the 2018 Board of Directors election. Voting in the election begins March 5 and closes April 2. RA members can vote electronically or by paper ballot.

The Trees in Reston brochure, produced by Reston Association staff and the Friends of Reston, is now available at RA offices and can be found in pamphlet boxes along community pathways and trails. The brochure provides concise information about tree preservation policies and includes a list of native trees that can be planted in Reston.
