The Reston Association Board of Directors is considering a proposal to set the 2020 annual assessment rate at $728. The rate, based on the proposed draft of the 2020-2021 budget, would represent a 5 percent increase ($35) from the 2019 assessment and is approximately $130 below the cap permitted by the state.
Reston Association has hired The Brand Consultancy to conduct a survey of some RA members, non-members and community partners. The survey, which is part of a broader member experience study to be conducted by the company, will include questions about the association’s services and amenities. The online survey was being emailed this week (starting Aug. 21).
Reston Association requires individual cluster associations to provide confirmation of insurance coverage to RA. A certificate of insurance must be submitted to RA by Nov. 30 of each calendar year, according the Reston deed.
The Reston Association Design Review Board held a work session last Friday with representatives of Fairfax County and INOVA, the two property owners of the approximately 47-acre Reston Town Center North properties.
