Reston Tennis was presented the “Public Facility of the Year” award by the Professional Tennis Registry. Reston Association Tennis and Pickleball Manager, Rob Tucker, accepted the award at the international tennis symposium held in South Carolina on Feb. 12-13.
The Reston Association Elections Committee has certified seven candidates to run in the 2020 Board of Directors' election. The month-long voting period begins March 2 and ends at 5 p.m. on April 3. RA members can either vote online or by mail once they receive their ballots.
Reston Association has installed an online feature that will enable members to make their 2020 assessment payments electronically through its existing WebTrac portal. The MemberSuite website, launched in December 2019, is no longer available for 2020 assessment payments due to configuration challenges that are requiring significant research and additional time to resolve.
Reston Association will be transitioning to an alternative online assessment payment method that will allow members to pay their assessments electronically beginning in late January 2020. Because of technical issues, the previous two online assessment billing systems (MemberSuite and the portal on www.reston.org) are no longer available to members. The Brand Consultancy, the company hired by Reston Association to conduct a community survey and overall member experience study, delivered its report to the association’s Board of Directors, staff and the RA membership in December 2019. The data in the report will be used to assist RA in better serving its members.
