The Reston Association Board of Directors voted to oppose Fairfax County’s proposed Planned Residential Community (PRC) District Residential Density Zoning Ordinance Amendment at its regular monthly meeting Thursday, Oct. 26.

At its regular monthly meeting Thursday night, the Reston Association Board of Directors selected John Bowman to fill one of four at-large seats on the nine-member governing panel. The position on the board became open after Ray Wedell resigned earlier this month.
Reston Association will be hosting three community engagement meetings and has launched an online survey to capture community input on the Hook Road Recreation Area Master Planning Project. The survey will remain open through Oct. 20.
By unanimous consent of the Board of Directors, Reston Association is issuing a call for candidates to fill the at-large position vacated by director Ray Wedell.
