The Brand Consultancy, the company hired by Reston Association to conduct a community survey and overall member experience study, delivered its report to the association’s Board of Directors, staff and the RA membership in December 2019. The data in the report will be used to assist RA in better serving its members.
Harry P. “Hank” Lynch has been named Chief Executive Officer for Reston Association. The Board of Directors unanimously voted in favor of hiring Lynch after a 9-month search to fill the vacant position.
Reston Association became aware of a video posted on social media recently that shows a former RA seasonal employee making inappropriate comments to a man seated in a vehicle. The association strongly condemns the remarks made by the former employee, who briefly worked at RA from March-August 2015.
Reston Association’s CFO and acting CEO, Robert Wood, has announced his resignation. Wood accepted a job at a national nonprofit organization in Washington, D.C. His last day at RA will be Friday, April 20.
The Reston Association Board of Directors selected CFO, Robert Wood, to serve as acting CEO. This appointment comes a day after it was announced that Cate Fulkerson would be vacating the CEO position as of March 1. Fulkerson will be moving into a special adviser role for the association.
