The location for the Thursday, June 27 meeting of the Reston Association Board of Directors has been moved from RA headquarters to The Lake House, 11450 Baron Cameron Ave. The change in location is due to utility work scheduled to be done outside of the RA headquarters building on Thursday evening.
At its monthly meeting March 22, the Reston Association Board of Directors approved two motions that are considered critical next steps to the establishment of strong internal controls. A substantially revised procurement and purchasing resolution was approved that would require the board to review and approve all contracts and agreements with expenditures of over $24,999.
(UPDATED 3/14/2017) Reston Association will hold a special meeting of the Board of Directors on March 20. The meeting was originally scheduled for March 14, but due to inclement weather, it was rescheduled.
The Reston Association Board of Directors received the final report Tuesday, Feb. 28, 2017 concerning RA’s handling of the Tetra/Lake House purchase and renovations.
The Board of Directors unanimously approved adding a new residential community into Reston Association. The townhouse and condominium property, known as Sunrise Square, is subject to various terms and conditions.
