RA Board Meeting to be Held at The Lake House

The location for the Thursday, June 27 meeting of the Reston Association Board of Directors has been moved from RA headquarters to The Lake House, 11450 Baron Cameron Ave. The change in location is due to utility work scheduled to be done outside of the RA headquarters building on Thursday evening.

Body Found; Members Urged to Call Police

Reston Association is monitoring news from the Fairfax County Police Department about the body of a 24-year-old man found dead near a pathway between Hunters Woods Plaza and Breton Court early Sunday morning. County police said they responded to reports of gunfire at 1:45 a.m. on June 23 and conducted a search of the wooded area, before discovering the body.

VDOT Extends Bidding Process; Delays Mowing of Medians

Due to an extension in the bidding process granted by the Virginia Department of Transportation, grass mowing along some of Reston’s roadways could face further delays. Reston Association learned this week that VDOT has extended the time allowed for companies to bid on the mowing contract until June 11.
