(UPDATED 04/09/2020) The Reston Association Annual Members’ Meeting has been rescheduled from April 14 to Thursday, April 30 at 7 p.m. Due to the ongoing coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic and statewide orders to help limit the spread of the illness, the annual meeting will be held electronically.

The RA Board of Directors’ election results will be announced at the April 30 meeting. There are seven candidates running for four seats on the nine-member board. The voting period for the election ends at 5 p.m. on April 3.
In other news related to safety measures being taken to protect members and employees, RA has closed all tennis courts, tot lots, basketball courts and pavilions until further notice. Parklands, ballfields and pathways remain open, but social distancing protocols are encouraged in order to prevent the spread of the virus. Numerous signs have been posted at RA facilities and some will soon be placed of our most popular trailheads.
As a result of Virginia Gov. Ralph Northam’s Executive Order 55, all board committees, advisory committees, Elections Committee, Legal Committee, Covenants Committee and meetings of the Design Review Board (panel and full DRB) are canceled through June 10. Consultation reviews by the DRB, which are not public meetings, will continue.
